Every year many anglers in Ontario make the trek to the International Centre to attend the Spring Fishing and Boat Show. This annual event is a wonderful event hosted by the Canadian Outdoor Sport Shows. The COSS is operated by wonderful Pallotta Family. The show has several great sponsors including Yamaha Canada and Outdoor Canada Magazine.

As a brand ambassador for Pure Fishing I have had the pleasure of delivering many fishing seminars to show attendees the past few years. This year was no exception. I was able to meet many great anglers form across Ontario giving seminars on the Outdoor Canada New Products Stage. A few times during this show I shared the stage with my friends Cooper Gallant and Danny McGarry. Two up and coming young anglers who are making waves in the Ontario fishing scene. I even had the pleasure of being emcee for a few friends on Sunday morning. This was a lot of fun and I thank Vita Pallotta for the opportunity!

I had blast working with my good friends Ben Woo, Sheldon Hatch and the rest of the B1 Crew who attended the show. Lots of positive hype at the show about the 2017 B1 Championship Tour! I am very proud to be on the B1 Team working with Ben and Sheldon. I will be traveling to many towns this summer with the B1 Team including Belleville (ON), Port Colborne (ON) and Salaberry-de-Valleyfield (QC).

It was great to hang out with Canadian fishing icon Bob Izumi  from the Real Fishing Show. Bob dropped by the show Saturday for a seminar appearance then spent some time in the Pure Fishing booth signing autographs. Bob is a knowledgeable angler who is always positive and happy to meet his fans!

A special shout out to my wife Heather for bringing the family to make this weekend complete! The annual trip to the SFBS Fishin’ Hole is always a highlight of our annual trip to the SFBS. The kids love taking part in all the great activities. This year the Trout Pond did not disappoint as always. Stefanie especially liked the casting area and Trevor loved the rock climbing wall!

A big thanks to all the Pure Fishing Ambassadors for their hard work. It is always great working with a crew of anglers enjoy helping other anglers, regardless of skill level, enjoy the sport we love. The 2017 Spring Fishing and Boat Show has come to an end but what a great few days!
